The rippled, droplet-like spheres of Bocci’s 14 series have been a defining element of the brand’s aesthetic since its release in 2005. The new 14p light (“p” as in “portable”) breaks this form free from the confines of pendant, ceiling and sconce lighting with the help of a USB-C-compatible rechargeable battery that provides up to 80 hours of illumination.
Like its predecessors, 14p is composed of a pair of poured glass hemispheres whose imprecise surface evokes the gentle waves of a pond. But thanks to a touch-controlled, three-level dimmer and a detachable brass base, it can lend its ambient fire-like glow to
any indoor or outdoor space.
The new 14p (“p” as in “portable”) breaks Bocci’s rippled, droplet-like spheres free to wander.
