When crafting its graphic design program for a biotech workplace, UX Architecture Studio foregrounded ambition and experimentation. Each of the office’s four levels has its own colour — yellow, green, turquoise or blue — corresponding to the company logo. The designers set decorative and wayfinding graphics throughout the building, but the signature pieces are the four central hallways, which have lenticular-style billboards telling stories about the company or celebrating relevant discoveries. In the spirit of scientific research, where all results are provisional, these graphics, affixed to the wall by magnets, can be replaced at any time.
